Tim started teaching music in 1983, building from simple Saturday morning lessons to over 70 individual students each week. During this time he earned a degree in computer science and started corporate systems integration and database programming for WA Newspapers under 7West Media.
In 2002, Tim co-founded the Glasson Murray Group, an internationally-recognised award-winning multimedia agency. For the next decade, Tim’s work included 360 degree CGI films, TVCs, websites, interactive serious game installations, and heritage digital interpretation. Tim took a sabbatical in 2014 to complete a psychology degree, and is now leveraging his experience to co-found Black Wax Entertainment, and raise much-needed funds for the Starlight Children’s Foundation through A Brush With Stars with business partner, Tristan Jones.
Tim is a computer game developer, entrepreneur, multimedia guru, and music teacher with over 30 years’ experience. Tim’s creative partnership with Tristan started over a decade ago while promoting Tristan’s The Gallery and created multimedia material during the early days of The Flamin' Thongs, generating huge buzz for the project. Since then, Tim and Tristan have partnered on several successful projects, the most recent being CelebriWines, a company that brings entertainers and artists together through wine and art sales.
