Founding Partner
Tristan founded his art gallery in 2004, quickly building it over several venues, including the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre with a total of 40,000 square meters hanging space, making it the largest gallery in the Southern Hemisphere.
Tristan Co-Created The Flamin’ Thongs, bringing together Tristan’s passion for the arts and desire to provide children with hours of amusement. The Flamin’ Thongs was a huge success, rating #1 in Australia in 2015, winning many awards worldwide.
In 2006, Tristan’s love of art joined with his philanthropic nature, leading him to create the highly successful CelebriArt gala ball, celebrity charity event. With 50 celebrities painting for charity, including Billy Connolly, over $111,000 was raised at a 500 guest dinner and auction, with 100% of funds going to the Princess Margaret Children’s Hospital (now Perth Children’s Hospital). This was one of many charity events organised by Tristan through his gallery, and by far the largest of over 50 exhibitions that Tristan’s The Gallery has held. This event is currently being brought to Melbourne as A Brush With Stars (www.abrushwithstars.vip).
